Peter, read with Reuben, aged 1

Where were you when you read the book?

My wife and I have read this book with our son, Reuben, all over the house. On the sofa in the playroom, the lounge, the kitchen table and even the floor.

We have sat and asked him to point out all the animals and had hours of fun teaching him and watching him point out animals while saying what they are.

What did you / your child enjoy about the book?

From the second we opened the post and getting the book out, Reuben has loved it. The light and bright front cover drew his attention. He loved doing everything himself now so the animal heads that stick out on the top of each page made it really easy for him to get to each page.

The bright colours are really engaging and Reuben loves that most of the animals on each page are touch and feel.

I love how interactive it is and how engaging it is for us a a family.

Any Surprises / Feedback?

This is such a great book, very bright so Reuben has never got bored of looking at it. I was so surprised at how vibrant the colours were in the book. It really makes everything stand out and we can’t wait to go and get the other books in the series.

On a rating out of 5, how likely would you recommend it to other parents?

5 out of 5 for this book. It is so engaging for your toddler, lots of colours and interactive touchy feely parts on each page. A great book to explore and learn about different animals, i think its a must have in any toddler book collection.
