Dad’s health – Over to you dad

written by DaddiLife 13th March 2017
dad, daddy, kid's health, time is now

Ultimate guide to dad's health over to you

It’s no longer a cost, it’s a vital investment

In this guide we’ve outlined the growing levels of obesity for dads, and why it’s becoming more and more prevalent in our children’s health too.

It’s clear that as dad’s we need to reframe our mindset away from accepting the romantic beer belly, and really do something active towards the health of ourselves and our children.

Our increasingly sugary and fatty diets are promoting a life for us and our families that is the total opposite of what we actually want as fathers – happy, healthy, sustainable ways to live and enjoy with our family.

Yes we’re busier than ever, and time is never on our side, but we need to start aiming for progress, not perfection. Look for the small steps you can take immediately to create a much better future. Whether going to work on a bike instead of the train, or doing those doorknob squats as a way to get active for 5 minutes in the morning, little steps each day will help you and your energy levels massively.

As dads, one of the best fatherly moments are those we spend out – playing games with our kids. Isn’t it time you made sure you can keep up?

It’s time to take your health to the next level, dad.
