Christmas doesn’t have to be Mission Impossible…or does it…

Hopefully over the next few days you’ll be getting together with friends, family, loved ones, and…quite possibly…not so loved ones(!)  to enjoy the festivities. The reality of Christmas is that sometimes, it can be a little boring, as can more time with the kids.
So how about some light dad fun, with the help of your favourite movie, it’s iconic music, and your all action hero child!

This week’s DaddiLifeForce challenge is from Adam Sookia who’s son Oscar will be staring in a Mission Impossible remake in the not too distant future by the looks of it.
Here’s how to get involved:
  1. Think of a great movie you love
  2. And a famous scene in it
  3. Now re-create it and get filming!

How to get involved:

  1. Find a clear sandwich bag (preferably one you’re going to put an actual sandwich in a little later).
  2. Re-create a scene you know your child loves. For instance, mine absolutely loves chicken and spaceships – and so a story is born!
  3. Get them helping with lines, colouring, and even perhaps telling you what they’d like to see on it.

How to get involved:

  1. Find 4 (or more) bowls of equal size.
  2. Find a visual reference for numbers 1-4 (or more), for instance marbles or small play balls.
  3. Cut out the numerical numbers and move through each number filling in both number & bowl (with a little patience at the start) to improve the hand-eye coordination too.
