A dad from Louisiana has found a brilliantly creative way to take a dad nap…buying a snorkel!

According to Skyler Nitschke, her dad “bought a snorkel for the sole purpose of taking naps in the pool.” She took a few photos of her dad, face down in the pool, with a snorkel in his mouth, floating on a pool noodle.

This strange, yet brilliantly inventive, super dangerous move, has got us thinking about the depths to which dad will go… just to reach the promised land of a dad nap! With more dads trying to do more at work and at home, getting those naps in are only natural. Here’s some to ‘inspire’ you 😉

This dad uses a classic line, to buy himself some time for something far more important, a dad nap! He had it down to a tee…until he got caught.

Kids throughly engrossed in something? Why not be the comfiest dad-seat going and get yourself some cheeky shut eye in the process!

A game of lights out, and setting a challenge for who can stay in this mode for longest will buy dad at least a few minutes to close his eyes.

What dad nap list is complete without the classic move of them all – taking a nap when they do. One of the best feelings ever!
