Our Review
Balancing children, work, relationships, friends, and hobbies means that when dad does get time to kick back, it’s a moment that has to be savoured.
And quality moments deserve the finer things – which is why recent years have seen a huge rise in the popularity of craft beers. But we don’t always have the time to source the very best, especially as more and more micro breweries are opening, offering more choice – good and bad.
So we were very excited when we came across The Real Ale Warehouse who have a rather brilliant solution…
Quality craft beers, straight to your door!
Real Ale Warehouse are online, based out of Scotland, and they stock a HUGE selection of beers – from the Orkney Isles in the North, to Brighton and Gloucester in the South. They bring you the very best beers you simply won’t find in your local supermarket. We were hugely impressed by the sheer variety and quality checks they put in place for the breweries they accept onto the platform.
Why this differs from normal supermarket beers
Firstly, a big difference between craft beers and grabbing some bottles from the local ‘offie’ or supermarket is the quality.
Craft Beers from Real Ale Warehouse are brewed in small batches (usually by hand) rather than mass produced, and use high quality ingredients. Each brewer has a passion and craft which means you are in for a very different experience than your usual beers.
Second thing is variety – whether you like stouts, bitters or lighter golden ales there’s plenty to choose from, and once you have homed on the styles you prefer there are options of really interesting spin offs that are so worth discovering – we particularly enjoyed the subtle hints of grapefruit, apple, ginger and even coconut that arrived in our box. A real flavour fest for your tastebuds.
How it all works
You can browse and build your case bottle by bottle, or choose from a range of ready made mixed cases by beer styles or themes.
Your box arrives safely the next working day with a free guide to beer styles, and once you have popped in the fridge to settle and chill, you can crack open and pour a glass of something worth savouring.
