Lamb Meatball Munchies
Scrumptious Lamb Meatballs munchies served up with steamed veggies and a healthy tomato sauce!

  1. Turn the oven on to 170oC, 160 fan or gas mark 4
  2. Finely chop one of the onions & the mint leaves & put them in a large bowl
  3. Add the lamb mince, a small pinch of salt & pepper & mix it all together using your hands
  4. When it is all mixed in use your hands to roll out meatballs which are about the size of a 50p piece. If you want to freeze your meatballs to use another time just pop them on a plate, cover with clingfilm and place in the freezer. Once frozen bag them up in quantities of your choice.
  5. Place on a baking tray covered with foil and cook in the oven for 25 minutes
  6. While the meatballs are cooking make the yummy sweet sauce!
  7. Heat the butter in a large frying pan on a medium heat.
  8. Finely chop the other onion & the garlic cloves & fry them in the butter for 5 minutes until soft & golden
  9. Add the passata, balsamic vinegar & honey & mix well. Turn the heat down & simmer for 10-15 minutes (NOTE – stir every so often to make sure it isn’t sticking to the pan
  10. Once the meatballs are cooked serve them with the sauce poured over the top & vegetables of your choice!
