My name is Terry. I’m a 38 year old civil servant from Lincolnshire. I am also a father to four boys and I was interested in trying this Difiney Anti Snoring Mouth Guard because like a lot of men my age I’m driving my wife mad with snoring!
I have tried a few sprays over the years with no success and I was under the impression you could only get these mouth guards through the dentist so I was quite excited to try this product as my sofa is getting quite uncomfortable.
First Impressions
When I first opened the product up I was pleasantly surprised with the build quality as with the low cost for the mouth guard i’ll be honest i wasn’t expecting much so that was nice and also i came with a solid storage case so it meant i had a nice clean place to store it when not in use.
Setting it up and using the mouthguard
It was very easy to set up, the instructions were very clear and simple to follow and it only took about 10 minutes.
The product is designed to keep your bottom jaw from sinking back down towards your throat, so they took into consideration that not everyone’s jaws are the same so they put in a clever little feature that makes it so you can set the bottom jaw in a few different settings so you can find the right setting for you.
Now for the important bit, did it work?
Unfortunately for me personally it did not but that doesn’t mean it wont work for other people. Let me explain…
I happen to be one of those people that likes to sleep on my back which in turn makes me open my mouth wider than the grand canyon. Also i’m quite a large bloke, my friends and family always tell me I have an abnormally large head and the mouth guard simply wasn’t big enough and kept dislodging from my teeth and falling into my mouth. It meant I kept waking up and readjusting it which to be honest after 3 nights got quite frustrating.

- A little on the small side (but i think that is because I have a freakishly large head)
- Takes a little getting used to having something in your mouth while sleeping
Overall thoughts
Overall I think The Difiney Mouthguard would definitely be worth giving it a go as just because it didn’t work for me doesn’t mean it wont work for someone else. That’s why I would give it a 4 out 5 because of the build quality and price.
