Flying high with Mini Flippers

Mini Flippers, Flip Out
DaddiLife Activity Of The Week

We’re profiling the very best activities for dads and children in collaboration with Club Hub, and this week we’re delighted to feature: Mini Flippers at Flip Out Brent Cross!

Flip Out is one of the UK’s most advanced trampoline parks, where children and adults of all ages can bounce, leap and flip to their heart’s content. Like this:

1. What’s in it for dads and kids?

As far as dads are concerned, the great thing about Flip Out is its dedicated area for under fives and the Mini Flippers sessions it runs every weekday in term time between 9am and 3pm.

The club’s dedicated area for under fives means small children can bounce away without fear of bumping into bigger people. And it’s not just trampolines. Little feet get their own foam pit too, perfect for superhero leaps and daredevil somersaults.

What’s more, there are loads of good reasons to get your kids into trampolining, as Flip Out’s Onkar Bhatt explains:

“Trampolining brings the best out of children. Not only do the children build motor skills such as balancing and coordination, the confidence levels shoot up instantly. It's a great way for parents to socialise too. Coming together under one giant roof for some respite whilst the kids have a fantastic time burning off their energy in the arena.”

Needless to say, there are lots of health benefits to a session of energetic fun. The NHS states that under fives benefit from a mix of low and high energy physical activity. Staying still for long periods can increase the risk of poor health.

Onkar adds: “With Mini Flipper sessions you do not need to encourage kids to keep moving - quite the opposite! These sessions teach parents how to positively feed the mental well being of their child, and children how to laugh out loud! A happy child after all is a happy parent.”

2. Key Activities At Mini Flippers

Small children are not limited to the under fives area. As long as an adult is with them at all times, you’re free to explore the many delights of the main arena, complete with tumble tracks, laser maze and obstacle course. When you’re truly flipped out, there’s an onsite cafe with free WiFi.

If you’re looking for an original party idea, Flip Out kids’ parties include an hour of time in the trampoline arena and half an hour in a decorated party room, complete with party food and party bags.

3. Great for dads who…
